First of all, as I am a new in this topic, so sorry if I ask something beginer question.

I have my first Audi A5 (2010), and I was interested about the Vag-com. I have bought a cable with a "braked" software. I can read and clear the foult codes very well, but when I want to change settings, (for example daytime running put a tick) or ( I wanted to set up my key can open windows), nothing happened. It seems to be everything allright I did with long coding helper after "do it" and it shows that "coding accepted", but nothing change. After I restart my vcds to check what I have done, and nothing changed. It did not do anything... It is strange, I can read with the cable, but can not change settings...
I use vag-com 11.11 on windows 7 laptop.

What would be the problem?

I also tried on XP laptop, it seems I do not have enough permission.. but why?

I'm not understanding what you are referring to when you say, "braked" software?
What cable and what software are you using specifically?

They are using cloned interfaces and stolen software and are asking for the forum supporters to help them use their "bargain" deal.
