2002 Audi S8 Project
Hello everyone,
For sale is a project package. My goal was to get a shiny s8 with a 6-speed manual, custom headers and exhaust. The dream started with a slipping auto transmission and multiple small issues that piled up. The S8 itself sits on adjustable coilovers and 21 inch rims, tires are pretty new. It has a salvage title due to hail damage, I'm assuming, but the front bumper was also damaged. And because of the exterior condition I bought a 2000 Audi A8 to use the panels (fenders, doors, etc) and restore its looks, and for the manual swap a 2001 Audi A6 2.7 as a transmission donor (engine is already gone).
This came to a halt after my responsibilities at work increased and the farmer I rent the garage from told me he needs the cars gone off his property. As much as I was looking forward to getting this done it doesn't seem like I would be able to pull it off anytime soon. I would love to see this project picked up by someone else but it really comes down to what opportunity one might see here. I would like to sell all three, 2002 Audi S8, 2000 Audi A8, and 2001 Audi A62.7T together. PM me with any questions and for more pictures or leave me an offer if you will.
Thank you!

Not sure how to edit anymore, here's a better description.

2000 Audi A8 is in running condition. There is frame damage from a hit in the back. The odometer reads 134,502 mi and it could be fixed and registered given the you have the frame skills. Transmission is smooth and doesn't slip. There are rips on the driver seat, the other seats are in good condition. Clear coat is peeling off and the driver door window is not operational.
2001 Audi A6 2.7T had a driver front hit. The engine is gone but all the other misc parts related to the transmission are present. The rear diff is in the car and the interior is intact.
2002 Audi S8 was in driving condition but with a mildly slipping transmission at 138,284 mi. I have a full VAG-com scan and compression check before starting to take the engine bay apart. I was getting closer to get the exhaust header out and make measurements on a custom header and full exhaust. Cat back delete, lightweight flywheel, stage 3 clutch, upgraded rear sway bar, ported heads, engine rebuild was all in the plans (not that it needed all of it, I was planning initially to get it done and keep it and maybe take on the circuit a little as well). An idea to work on intake capacity was on the table as well. There is a rip in the leather on the rear seat and some other small details that could use a fix inside. I was hoping to make it a great car.

Your ad needs a price, forum rules. I'd also add a location if you intend to sell this (tl;dr)
