tire size and rating
Trying to help my son in law. Moved rims/tire from my 2011 A6 Avant to his 2006 Avant.
Is there any problem using a 255/35/19 on 19x 8.5 rims on his 2006 A6 Avant
Continental DW 255/35/19 96 load rating on S5 rims (19x8.5)

Tire size is fine, but normally all the S5 (2012 model year) use a pretty low offset (35mm) compared to what we would use on the A6 (normally ET45) The S5 wheel may put the tire too close to the fender lip requiring some modification to limit rubbing at full suspension drop. I'd recommend a test fit before blast off.
