Will 18 in Q5 rims fit A6
I have been doing some research looking for a set of 18in OEM Rims that I would be able to use for winter tires on a 2016 A6 TDI. I have found the most common one listed for the A6 is the 18in #58995 5X112 ET39 8in wide. They are available from several different remanufacture suppliers for around $200 each. I have also found a set which is available locally with tires mounted for about the same price. The rims and tires are off a Q5. They are 18 in #58917 5X112 ET39 8in. All the specs for the rims seem to be identical. Obviously the tire would be of no use on a A6 being they are much to large. But I could possibly use them on another family vehicle or sell the tires separately. Has anyone tried these rims on a A6? It would seem to me they should fit or am I missing something.
