1. Audi Urban Future Initiative

Anticipating that the world population will grow to live primarily in dense megacities by 2030, Audi set their sights on the Audi Urban Future Initiative in order to build relationships between specialists like architects, urban planners, trend researchers, and sociologists. Their goal is to facilitate discussion of issues that will arise with our future cities and plan ahead to seek solutions. Read more about the Audi Urban Future Initiative here.

2. Volunteer Efforts

If you work for Audi at one of their corporate sites in Germany, then you'll be expected to participate during their Volunteer Days. From helping to build an aquarium for the Workers' Welfare Association's housing unit, to setting up quarantine and rearing stations for an animal welfare organization, to planting gardens for a day nursery, Audi employees get their hands dirty for good causes. Audi also takes suggestions and input from their employees as to which charitable organizations they should work with. Click here to read more about how Audi and its employees volunteer regularly.

3. Commitment to the Arts

Audi's first involvement with the arts was back in 1962 when Auto Union employees in Ingolstadt, Germany founded the Audi Philharmonic Wind Orchestra, which plays benefit concerts to this day. Since then, Audi has created an ArtExperience program that provides opportunities for people to access and enjoy art locally. Audi founded the Young Persons' Choral Academy in 2007 with the goal of providing opportunities for young singers to cultivate their talents. Internationally, Audi supports music and jazz festivals as well as visual arts, architecture, and film projects. Click here to read more about Audi's involvement in the arts.
