Dunlop Tires to Star on Speed Channel’s ‘Sports Car Revolution’
AKRON, Ohio, Feb. 22 /PRNewswire/ — Not one to give away an intriguing ending, but Dunlop and Audi modifier STaSIS Engineering can’t resist showing off in this Saturday’s premiere of Sports Car Revolution on Speed Channel. STaSIS officials said they turned a humble Audi A4 into a high-horsepower sports car “crusher,” and they credited Dunlop for part of the performance boost. Dunlop officials say they expect the series to give their brand a lift as well. The 13-episode series, which runs through May 21, follows the extensive modification of the Audi by STaSIS Engineering. The progress is monitored by professional test drivers and test equipment. STaSIS used Dunlop SP Super Sport Race, an extreme high-performance sport radial designed for supercar owners and autocross enthusiasts who need a non- competition, DOT-legal street tire that provides maximum dry grip.
