Peter Schwarzenbauer – Biography

Peter Schwarzenbauer was born on October 19, 1959 in Weisenburg (Bavaria).

He initially went to high school in Munich and then in Nova Friburgo (Brazil) where he passed his “Abitur” (high school diploma).

After studying Business Management with a major in Marketing at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, he started his professional career at BMW AG in 1984 where he was responsible for various functions in Marketing and Sales.

In 1994, Peter Schwarzenbauer moved to Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG where he was initially Head of Sales for Germany. In 1997, he moved to Porsche Iberica S.A., then in 2003 he was made President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America Inc.

Since April 1, 2008, Schwarzenbauer has been Member of the Board of Management of AUDI AG for Marketing and Sales.
