6 Photos You Need to Sell Your Audi

Main

When you put your Audi up for sale online, you are trying to sell it to everyone who has access to the internet. Some potential buyers aren’t even local, so you have to make sure your photos can sell your Audi. Take as many photos as you can, as you want to give a complete portrait of your beloved vehicle. Here are the most important types of photos you need to successfully sell your Audi.

1. Show It Under the Spotlight

Spotlight

It should be obvious that the first overall image of your Audi should be in a well-lit area, preferably on a sunny day. Pictures of an Audi during the night or in your garage will not appeal to a buyer, as it will hide the details such as the color and the sexy contours. Make sure that the first initial image clearly shows your Audi and it should sell itself.

2. Show the Exterior

Exterior

Again, you can’t take too many photos here. You want to make sure that your potential buyer has the full picture (in a series of shots). When taking photos of the exterior, take shots of all sides: front and back, left and right. If you have a roof rack or a sunroof, take photos of that as well.

3. Show the Interior

INterior

Clean your Audi before snapping photos. While it’s fine to show the wear, you don’t want to scare off buyers with fast food wrappers. A dirty car shows that you haven’t taken good care of your Audi, and the last thing you want to do is turn people away just because you were too lazy to clean up. Get into the backseat to take photos of the front and vice versa. Show the important features of the Audi in different angles: seats, dashboard, odometer (showing the mileage), and an interior view of the sunroof.

4. Show Those Imperfections

Imperfections

You want to show the interior’s wear and the exterior dents, scratches etc. You don’t want to lie about the condition of your car. Some of these buyers might be travelling long distances to inspect that Audi and you don’t want to waste their time (and yours) after those dents have come to light. Oftentimes they will be fine with minor scratches or even dents. But you should be prepared to lower your price if it becomes an issue.

5. Show the Wheels

Wheels

You want to show the condition of your wheels. Like before, you want to show those imperfections. If the wheels are damaged or the tire tread is low, you will need to show that in your photos so your buyer knows what they are getting. These are things a buyer would need to fix and the cost would be coming out of their pockets so they will need to factor that into their budget. You want to always stay honest and reflect those issues in your price, that way the buyer will not be surprised and make a bee-line to the next Audi on their list.

6. Show That the Lights Work

Lights

Take photos while someone turns on the headlights, presses the brakes, shifts to reverse, and turns on the signals. You may even want to have images of the dome light on (while you take interior snaps). This might be a little hard to do on a bright sunny day and you might need to find a shadier spot, but it will be an added bonus to show that your Audi is in working condition.
