2003 A4 1.8t wont start!!! need help!!!!
my car out of nowhere wont start. its turns over but wont fire up. I had a mechanic take a look at it. He says that the car has no spark and the fuel pump is getting no power. He seems to think its an electrical issue, maybe a computer or relay. Does anyone have any experience with this or advice they can give? I am pretty amateur when it come to this stuff so..... any and all advice is much appreciated.

well crankshaft sensor not having a signal is not going to make spark, and the fuel pump wont run if theres no engine speed signal. It should prime for 2-3 seconds when the key is first turned, and then when an rpm signal from the Crank sensor the ECU turns on the pump and fires the coils.
