2005 A4 1.8t Passenger side window goes down with a grind and sometimes will change direction throughout the process. For-instance when its going up it will turn and go down a bit then stop. Window Regulator?

I have the same damn problem.......
I have the same exact problem on my 99 A4 B5. The issue is the regulator. My problem there is a cable going from the motor around a plastic wheel at the top of the regulator, the cable slipped off the wheel to the side and causes the window to get stuck, because the motor senses a problem so it rolls it back down. I tried to put the cable back on but the F***ing plastic wheel broke so now i have to replace the regulator. Hopefully thats what the problem is you would have to take the door panel off to determine.
