coolant temp problem

coolant temp problem
hey guys...seems as though i'm having a bit of a problem with my coolant
i just replaced my temp sensor and reservoir tank...i capped off the coolant...and now my coolant temp light comes on ALL the time..but the coolant temp is fine it doesn't overheat...
i checked my coolant the other day and it was extremely low...actually it was very very low...so i uncapped the reservoir tank...and all of a sudden the coolant started to rise back up again...but the light still comes on...i have no idea what could be causing this...
has someone here ever have a problem like this before...if so can you tell me how i can fix this...thanks

Air in the system ???
have you tried bleeding the system ? there is a bleader valve near the top of firewall roughly in the middle of the car.
If that does not work I have seen people do this:
1)make sure the coolant is cool (engine off)
2)oprn the reservoir tank
3)turn on the engine and let it run for a while
as the engine runs and the coolant pump circulates the coolant some of the bubbles in the system escape throught the open reservoir tank.

yeah man...everything is as it should be...I'm almost positive that it could be air in the system...quattrorally isn't the first one that suggested it...i'm going to try and uncapping the tank and letting it sit for a while like he said...but if it's a no go then i guess i'll just get it bled at my local shop...thanks for the help you guys...
