Here is how far you will be off by when you flip the manifold. Looks like its off by about an inch.

The first point of interference is the rear mounts for the powersteering pump. I can't show it very well but even if you grind off the two mounts the bulge at the top of the block will still prevent the manifold from mounting by about 1/4"-1/2".

I'm hoping to grind the block down a bit and mill the IM bottom.....
I knew PS pump was going to be be scrapped in this effort all along so its fasteners are "outta there!. DAMN I hate it that I disassembled all my spare motors! Especially since I keep heads here and blocks at Champagne.
Given what you've got there is grinding/milling look feasible if the PS pump is totally disregarded?

javad is using a mr2 electric power steering pump on his 5 cylinder motor.
