Default Paging Mance Hush vs Stock resonator

I know this has been discussed frequently, but I want to know which is better in overall quietness, the stock resonator or the hush II. I had a magnaflow system put in, power pack resonator, and dual tip exhaust I didn't expect it to be this loud. I've been driving around with the damned thing for several months and now I really need to get rid of it. Which resonator would decrease overall noise, mostly inside the cabin. And if possible will leaving the magnaflow exhaust retain some exhaust note?

Default The stock resonator should give you the quietest sound...

I am running a mf cat, stock resonator, and mf rear muffler and the sound is just about perfect. If I ever go with big valve heads and get my headers installed I may look at the Hushpower II which I suspect will be a little louder but still tolerable plus the benefit of better flow.

Default No ifs, ands or buts about it. Stock and by about a 1000% factor

and it flows so well I dont know why I was in such a hurry to lose it. I'll run stock resonator even with the new motor I'm building. Nothing else in the exhaust will be stock but the resonator stays. I learned my lesson on that one after about $2k in trying to make an acceptably quiet system with everything but stock resonator. Even running 4 mufflers it was till too loud and not by any small margin. Way, WAY too loud!

But then I have old ears and I know the hip/hop contingent is gonna chime in with "I'm running XXX system and mines perfect." Yeah but not for anyone else within ear-shot other than another master-blaster lover.

I'd rather drive quietly and carry a big "quick" than write a check with my exhaust noise that my car cant cover.

Default Does the Stock resonator

Still provide you with the same performance aspect instead of running with something else.

Any input on the Aeroturbine resonator.<ul><li><a href="http://www.turboexhaust.com/buy/">Towards the bottom.</a></li></ul>

Default stock will support up to 350HP with no appreciable back-pressure...

thats more than I will need and over double what most will ever need. In addition they are cheap in the salvage yards ($15-$20 each), plentiful, last forever and simply KILL everything on the planet noise-wise. Dont ask me how, some things just are and I'm ok with that in this instance.

Never heard of the Aeroturbine and am not in the market to raise my $2k research to-date up another 10% with installation. I know what works, lasts and suits my tastes. Most stock items dont come close. The stock resonator is all I could ever ask for based on my needs/wants.

Default Thanks for that, now I need to find a stock resonator as I was stupid enough to leave it at...

the exhaust shop instead of take it back with me. But again as for sound, is it exactly the same as a stock muffler?

Default any muffler aft of the resonator will affect/influence exhaust sound....

no two dissimilar rear mufflers will sound "exactly" alike tho they may be similar or vastly different. My stock resonator and Remus rear muffler is perfect for me. YMMV
