GE: 2013 CAEB engine

Hello guys,
Does 2009-2012 CAEB engine same as 2013-2016

CAEB or are there any changes regarding oil consumption.

THE 2009-2011 CAEB ENGINE IS DIFFERENT FROM 2012-2016 CAEB. THE '09-'11 PISTON WIRST PIN IS SMALLER COMPARED TO THE '12-'16 CAEB. BOTH CAEB ENGINES HAS OIL CONSUMPTIONS. JUST THE 09-11 HAS THE EXTENTED WARRENTY.

Hi Guys: I have a 2012 Q5. How do I find out if I have CAEB engine? Where is this in my documentation for my car?
