Had run a scan a few days ago. Cleared codes. Ran again today, see below.
trans code 17125 P0741 : are there troubleshooting procedures to determine what the cause is? Kiss of death for torque converter?

17862 - Exhaust Gas Temp Sensor 1 (G235): Short to Ground P1454 - 35-00
==> Bad sensor? needs to be changed? Location?
17704 - Error in Mapped Cooling System (check Temp-Sensor and Thermostat) P1296 - 35-00

==> suggestions for troubleshooting? (I had been fighting air bag code (seat, driver and passenger side) on my A4 (B5). Finally solved when cutting out the connector under the seat.)

Hi yah,
I can help with the following:
Air Bag code (light is on):
65535 - Internal Control Module Memory Error 00-10 Intermittent
I can 100% say that a 65535 is a dead module, even a reset does NOT work, tried and failed. it is a simple replacement. I have just this weekend gone replaced my module after the same error. See this article, it is BRILLIANT.

Now this one is more interesting I have just replaced my EGT, with a "working" one and got this error AFTER the installation. Prior to a new senor going in I had a 17861, which sent me to this article, which is very good also.
