01 a4 central locking module issue HELP!
Hello and thanks in advance for any help. My problem started on a trip from cincinnati back to indianapolis in heavy rain. My key fob quit working. eh not a big deal to me probally bad battery. then while driving my rear dome light turned on automatically. then my alarm started going off while driving. Managed to get back to indy and after some research i decided to check out my module. sure enough it was under 2 inches of water. i found a good condition used one, cleaned the connector that was under water and tried that. My locks will work with the key in the door, no key fob or switch. My dome light works with the door when running but not when car is off. im frieking stumped as to if something else could be wrong....i know a ton of people had this issue help!!!!!
