1.8T Mexico Engine ?

I just received and updated engine chart from AutoWorld and it said that the 1.8T engine for the 2000 A4 is being built in Puebla, Mexico ? Can anyone confirm this ? I sure hope not.

Not certain about the 1.8T engine's origins,

probably assembled in Mexico for the VW line-Beetle, Golf and Jetta. Further, the A3 is being built in the State of Parana (south)in Brasil.

I just read somewhere that 100% of the engines come from the Gyor, Hungary plant and that they are expanding capacity. They also mentioned that even though they have the golf and beetle being buiilt in mexico their only plant for the 1.8 engine is Gyor and it gets shipped to Mexico.

I swear I read it in the last Audi Driver.
