2.0 conversion
Has anyone stroked out their 1.8t to a 2.0t? What parts did you use, and how much did it cost (if ya don't mind answering)? Was it worth it? I'm really interested in building my A4 into a solid track car. I wanted to start from the ground up, since i'm pushing 80,000 miles. Thanks for any information!

Audi2ptzero, XR4TIC, Big Nipper, and a handful of others have done it.

1.9L here...no stroking.
1.9 bored out. I plan on running some mad boost, so I wanted a stout bottom end that didn't mess with the stroking.
I would say if you are rebuilding your car and plan on running an aftermarket turbo kit, you might as well go forged. I ended up using JE pistons and pauted rods, with a knife edged crank. It ain't cheap, but whoever said modding was. =)
