2.5" downpipe and 3" exhaust on 1.8T soon to be K04. Will I like it?

I have a Borla left over from when I owned the S4. I'll have to fabricate something to connect the DP to the first muffler.

I also have a hollow cat (ghetto test pipe) that I may put it.

Ehh, OK. I would go 3" into 2.5 personally. Test pipe/gutted kitty to 2.5 back would be better.

3'' is too big imo.

It will probably be pretty loud and not in your liking.

You'll want to have a little bit of back pressure, so id say 2.75 max.

Like Dung Beetle said though, 3'' to 2.5'' would be nice.

Do you guys think a hollow cat followed by a 2.5" downpipe with stock exhaust

will flow well enough for K04?
