I apologize for sounding ignorant about this topic, I'm still learning....
I've posted quite a few questions regarding my clutch to come to no conclusive answer, and I think I might be able to better explain my situation. I have a new clutch installed and it grips well when fully engaged. However, before engaging the clutch has a lot of slip and chatter even at 1500 RPM. Are there two separate mechanisms that apply the clutch pressure to the flywheel before it is completely engaged, and after it is fully engaged?
From what I've read this may be an issue with the clutch master or slave cylinder, can this lack of pressure be solved by bleeding either of these?

It kinda bugs me that I can't go 80 without being at....
3500 RPM.... but I'm reconsidering if my clutch behavoir now is typical... I know the chip doesn't add much below 1500 RPM so the engagement would be even rougher... what problems was your short shifter causing you?

Losening the "dont let **** fvck up" pin on my tranny
when you or someone else takes your tranny off have them look to see if the pin just below where the houseing separates (its tightened by a huge torx bolt, like 45-55) is nice and snug.
My UUC has been working mine out on two of my last three transmissions.
The first one came all the way out and fvcked EVERYTHING up.
