'96 Head Unit Replacement...

I'm looking to replace my Delta head unit with an Alpine... Anyone have advice on what install kit, etc. to use? I'd rather not have the head unit stick out as far as it looks like it will with the Scosche piece, but if that's all I can do, so be it? Pics of what head units look like would be appreciated!

The scosche is actually very flush

I put a fosgate mp3 head in and it looks very professional and flush. I would look stock except that the face is chrome

I had a pic but it was very blurry so it wouldn't help.
