97 A4 1.8T Auto, Quattro - Bearing Problems
Can anyone help me? I have a 1997 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro, and I recently ordered some 1 front driver bearing and 2 rear bearings from Blauparts (online Audi/VW parts store). My mechanic installed them and now we are getting the ABS error light on the dasboard and there is a strange noise coming from the rear passenger wheel and at times when I brake I get a strange crunch like sound and the brake applies itself really hard. My mechanic is an Audi/VW guy so I am surprised about this?! Does anyone have any input. Thank you in Advance! -Stove

Once these rings are destroyed it usually will kick the ABS light and will not sound too well either.
