Sure, if you're into spinning out of control

All 4 snows are well worth it.

Snows do help you go, but you also need them to stop. Put snows on all four.

Accelerating you'll have no problems....but stopping is another issue

Your car will seem very unbalanced and it will be harder to control. The rears will lock up faster. Our braking system is designed with balance in mind hoping that both front and rear wheels have the same traction and balancing the brake force accordingly. If you alter that you may cause the car to become hard to control. I guess if you have ESP it should help, plus there's always ABS, but I just think trying it would be a bad idea. I'd rather stick with 4 all season tires.

You have brakes on all 4 wheels - get 4 snowtires.

You could, BUT...

based on previous experience with FWD Saabs and VWs I'd go with 4 snows. Makes a HUGE difference in the cars winter abilities. the last thing you want in the winter is to have your rears lock up early...unless you like looking where you've already been ;-)
