If kids can't control their vehicles driving normal speeds, how in the hell are they going to control it doing > 65mph. Doesn't matter how good the car is, or how good it does in crash ratings when it comes to crashes involving higher speeds.
Sad, but the reality is the kids shouldn't have a car that can go that fast in the first place, especially being 17, 18 years old. And the parents needed to kick their kids a$$ for being out that late, because I'm sure it wasn't the first time.
Very sad. I'm 6'1, but if I had ever come home at 2am or been driving that fast... my mother would cut me down before I even knew what happened. She still would.
