Good luck. It's a bitch. Since you have a 1999.5 (like me), I'll warn you that the nuts on the cat are most likely not welded on (mine weren't). You're most likely going to need to hold the nut side when moving the bolts.

nightmare. good luck. use penetrating oil
start at least 1 day before. it's seriously such a pain in the ***. I'd HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest getting a shop to do it. i've read people pay like $50 to have an exhaust shop do it. so worth it. it took me like 6 hrs and cut to hell hands.
if you do do it though, like i said penetrating grease. remember to put a new gasket in there. get at least 1 extra bolt / nut, because you're going to break at least one (you can return if not), take off your pass front wheel, you can reach the bottom bolt through the wheelwell.
good luck. plan on blowing a whole day doing it. then if it takes less, you scored.

My bolts are new so this time should be easy
I had a Borla on last year that I removed because of fitment issues. I originally had a shop do it and glad I did! I removed it myself when I sold the Borla and it took 20 minutes.
