A4 1.8T Fuel line in ?

quick question regarding the fuel line on a 1997 A4 1.8T engine. Which side of the rail is where the fuel comes in? Is it the side with the regulator on it as marked by the arrow or the other side?
Just need to know which pipe brings the fuel in rather than the return pipe. cheers fellas
