A4 2002 Styling
Ther have been a lot of pictures posted and we will find out at the end of the moonth. My own opinion is that if Audi attempts to "refine" the llok of the A4 the new model will not look as nice as the current model. the current styling is just too good and "classic" to be significantly improved. I think they would be better off with a brand new design concept.

<center><img src="http://www.lltek.com/images/new_a4.gif"></center><p>While the rear may take some design cues from the TT, I think that the one in this picture is just absolutely beautiful, and I'd buy it in a heartbeat (if I could afford it that is! :-\ ). I think this design represents something completely new as far as the front end is concerned.

I agree, but.......
They could do some things like making 17 or 18" wheels standard, or having some newer options, like ground effects or something. How come we are stuck with the 2.8 30v with only 195 hp. BMW kicks are butts, Lexus is 300 does now also!

Good point, but...
I would guess that they have to consider their marketing data and recent success of the A4, hence, I do not believe that the 'brand new design concept' you refer to would be wise for them. They would potentially alientate their existing customers (repeat potential) even though they may open themselves up to a new market. I think the exterior refinements will attempt to stay true to the best qualities of the exisiting model while tweaking here and there. I would expect bolder styling changes in the interior to again prove their cutting edge excellence.

Are you referring to Lexus and BMW kicking your butts with style or HP?
because in the style department, both are too flashy, thus inferior, and as for HP, I guess you never went head to head with an IS.... because he'd be eating your exhaust fumes!

I would say it looks like a new design. We don't know yet if the picture is accurate. I will want to see the actual cars before I decide if the styling is improved. I thought the new Mercedes C class looked great when I saw the pictures. When I went to see it in person I was "underwelmed".

Unfortunately, I have it on good authority that......
the new A4 looks like the A6... which is a big bummer. I can only wish that pic of the concept car with the "TT-Like" front end was the new A4.... wow what a badass looking car! The best part about it is that it looks absolutely nothing like the A6.
