A4 or??????
I have been thinking about buying a 2001 A4 1.8T Quattro, Sports Package and Xenon Lights......but the problem is that I really love my 1995 Ford Aspire....can anyone give me a reason to update to an Audi A4??????? Thanks....

Well as a former 1988 Ford Festiva owner I can tell you driving such a machine
really prepares you for a fine car like the Audi A4. You can really develop some amazing skills when you're forced to drive such a POS. I was able to scoot around at insane speeds in my Festiva...it just lends more credance to that old axe about how you should tighten the loose nut behind the wheel before you start modding the **** out of your car...that way you'll be better prepared for the improvements instead of them masking...or sometimes aggrivating the shortcomings of the driver.
Heheh all kidding aside...you should ditch the Aspire..

almost flipped (long - somewhat)
well i remember we had one for a rental a few years ago when i was 17. heres the deal, parents car was in an accident, and back then i shared cars with my older brother. he took the car out for the night, and i wasnt' supposed to drive the rental (too young). but there was a big party in NYC so i took the car out, picked up my cuzin, and drove out to NYC. its funny to see the top speed (about 90MPH) on that thing!!! anwyays it was about 5am when i was heading home, and my parents would wake up soon, so i had to get the car back in time!! so i'm speeding back, and for some reason i decided to give a couple of left/right twitches to the wheel to test the suspension out. i do this all the time and usually the cars would just respond ok to great. on this car i twitch it left, then right, and i notice the back end is still moving when i turn back straight. the back end started to go out, and i got scared $h!ttless!!! i dont remmeber too well what happened but i remember the car being out of control and it took a lot to bring it back under control. now i was only going about 75mph when this happened.
so i would say SAFETY in emergency type manuveres.

if you want HP, go get yourself those cheaper muscle cars.
you'll know if the A4 or the likes are for you and your situation (money, neighborhood, lifestyle, self projection etc)
