A4 K04 Go for it or skip?

I have a 2000 B5 A4 and am considering a k04 setup. The local shop told me the difference would feel like from stock to chipped, that noticable. Of course if i did it, i would do the injectors and software as well. Just wondering if it would be worth it or not. thanks.

depends on what you're going for

if you think you'll be content with under 250HP then yeah, not a bad upgrade

if you are going to upgrade above that at some point, you may want to save your money now

honestly i think i would be happy with a 250hp car. i guess i'm just wondering if a k04 kit is more worth it than another turbo. like hp to price ratio?

... think 5K for big turbo with all necessary stuff

closer to 400hp

think 2-3K for K04 with all the stuff

for 250hp

Just did this to my '01. injectors, maf etc.

taking it to Lime Rock Park Monday.

I'll give you my verdict on that comment, OK?

I was chipped and did what you are proposing. So far I am very happy with the setup. 4bar FPR for the 380cc injectors....
