A4 Not changing Gear
Hi does anybody know why 1.8 Petrol Auto A4 will not change gears?
The Gearbox has being changed so I am looking at the electronics of the car. Is there any sensors that can be checked?

Hmm.. Could most definatley be electrical.. Are the PRNDL4321 all lit up as one solid line?
If so, it's in 'limp home' mode, which puts the box in 4th gear and won't allow the torque converter to lock up (also known as hydraulic 4th gear)
I would have someone with a VAG scan tool (VAG COM, 1551/1552, etc..) look at the transmission modlue, and see what if any codes are present.
