A4 wait

Why do you have to wait so long to get this car. I bought my car back in july and stil no word. dealer said built date was september . they also told me that production for the tiptronc tranny was late; is this true. i test dorve a 2001 in july. is it possible for dealer to find out how long it will take.

Ordered mine in August.

Dealer told me it just went into production, and it should be 6 more weeks. Hope he's telling the truth!!

Ordered mine in mid July also. Production was mid September and last week it was "At Port" status. I guess waiting customs/trnasportation. I am hoping to have it before November.

Ordered mine about the same time...just came in this week. The dealer said the boat was delayed by storms (docked in San Diego). Anyway, they don't seem to have much of a tracking system.

Ordered mine the end of June. I have 'port' status in Germany. It was built in Sept.

(or is it Electronic Stoopidity Police?)

ESP is the new Electronic Stabilization Program, and Prem is short
for Premium Package (formerly Convenience pkg) which includes
sunroof, Homelink, and automatically-dimming mirrors. See the
