ABS and Brake light

I have a 96 A4 which constantly shows the abs and brake light (on not blinking) after driving for a certain amount of time (say 15 minutes). I have discovered that the vag-com is the best way to find the specific issue, but where can i get the test run? i dont know if i want to buy the whole package for 600$$ just for one problem which may cost more to repair. Any suggestions? i live in PA in Lewisburg.

probaly your abs control unit. much $$$. about 1000.00 ,parts and labor.
