Default ABS sensor

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/43794/absrepair6.jpg">
this picture is taken from audipage.com (A8 model)

I tried to take this m.f out for the past 3 hours (3am ~ 6am) with a good friend of mine (he's a professional mechanic) I wanted to clean the sensor to see if ABS flashing issue would be solved. Yet, this m.f just would not come out. We put a lot of WD-40 and it eventually came half way out, but no luck. We finally gave up.

ABS light remains flashing...

Default Keep at it.

Once you get it out, pull out the little brass "cage" that it sets in and use a wire brush to clean out the hole. Grease up the cage and the sensor and reinstall. Be careful not to get grease on the end of the sensor. Seat it right up against the CV joint - push it in as far as it will go.

Default twist it and pull at the same time... and keep working it...

eventually it'll pull out. I had to actually pry on mine a lil bit w/ a large flat head screwdriver to get it to move... def greased it up good when I put it back in so hopefully I won't have that issue again.

Default lol... takes a twisted mind to interpret a twisted thought ;)

too bad I wasn't trying to be twisted... though it was funny to re-read what I said in that context =P

Default i put high temp brake/axle grease on mine...

so I would assume antiseize would work too. I think it originally had white lithium grease on it from when my mechanic did the WB the first time.
