ABS sensor question

Now if you were cleaning your wheels with an acid cleaner, that might do it. But I am not sure.
I recently had to have an ABS sensor & cable replaced on my car. A flatbed operator inadvertently yanked the cable when he hooked up the car, turning a minor no-start problem into a major headache.
My dealer tells me that they are very easy to snag. Great !! Just what I wanted to hear.
Roadside Assistance paid for the claim (and probably billed it back to the towing company).
But it was a $300 repair, in case you're curious.
