Default ABT chip
Hi,

Has anyone had a chip installed from Advanced Motorsports Solutions in Costa Mesa, CA? I think they use an ABT chip. Did they do a good job? Is this a good chip for a 2001 1.8T?? My dealer suggested I use them.

Default Friend of mine at work got his chipped there. He's happy w/ it although his isn't DBW
If you decide to go with them, can't go wrong, after all you are buying an Abt product equivalent to Nike in the shoe industry. Have you looked at other chips? i.e. Neuspeed? APR?

No, I have not looked at any others...my car just passed 10K miles so I'm just starting to look.

No, dealer was Commonwealth and the sales person is pretty savy...so I took it as good advice but wanted to check it out first.
