AC line replace??

AC line replace??
I bought the car in to get my egr fix and a minor tune up. I've also have them look at my AC problem. They guy told me that my AC line has been pushed against the alternator and thats where the hole is. I am thinking of changing the line myself. Does anybody know how to change that line?

A/C work is not really DIY in my opinion
Here are the PN sheets, because I'm not sure which line runs by the alternator:

I disagree, i changed oneof those lines
I had to change the Low side line which is probably the same one you need to replace. The hoses are expensive, best thing to do is get a used one. Make sure you replace the O-rings while you are at it. Replacing the A/C line is pretty straight forward, remove the old one replace with the new one.

If theres a hole in the line...
like mine had there couldn't possibly be any refrigerant left in the system. I replaced the hose and then recharged it, blows colder than ever. hose cost me 50 bucks 6 dollars for O-rings, and 25 for a refill kit. The hose itself is 270 from the dealer

I 4got to tell my car is an 96 A4 Fwd 2.8L.
Sorry I 4got to mention that. Does it make any difference by any chance?

Those PN sheets cover all engine codes. If the PN is EC dependent, just make sure you match it.
The model year indicated on those sheets is irrelavant in this case. The engine code/number of cylinders is what matters here.
