adding an amp and sub box question
Following advice posted all over this forum, I have decided to go with the sports package instead of the bose sound system - thanks guys! 
Anyways, my question is how difficult is it to get to the back of the stock radio in a '01 to get to Left & Right RCA's to go back to the amp? Has anybody done this? Any pics? How much work is it for an amateur? Should I just have some professional do this for me?

I did it back in 97 when I bought my 1.8TQM. It took a few hours but wasn't difficult at all. Depends on how many installs you've done before. There are FAQs on how to take the radio out and power blocks under the steering wheel. I removed the all footwell panels, the door sills, and rear seats...one at at time during the week prior to my install. That way I knew how everything came apart and went back together. Or you could tap off the rear speakers, convert it to a low level and put that into the amp. Not as clean but really easy to do.
