Adding features to remote control module

Just asked my Audi dealer here in Malaysia to enable two features on my A4 (year 2000 1.8T with Concert stereo system) which are autolock at 15kmh and audio feedback. The dealership says they don't know if it can be done and I'll have to check again with them in a week. You and I know it CAN be done... seen all the FAQs. Question is, how do I PROVE to my dealership that these two options are indeed available with my car and all they have to do is enable it?

What worries me is that all the documents I've seen on the Net refer to the US-spec models and I don't want these guys to use "Oh, well maybe it works there but not here..." as an excuse for not trying. Can anyone supply me with the necessary ammunition so these dealers will get with the program?

try talking to the technician instead of the dealer...(more)

if my memory is correct....I believe somone from this forum got the VAG goodies for free by talking to one of the techs instead of the dealer...of course...your luck may vary

Yeah, actually DID speak to the tech...

I fear that these guys have never done it before or they're just plain lazy to try. Either way I'm hoping that if I can show them something in B&W, specific to Asian-spec A4s, I might get somewhere with this...
