Advice needed
Today, the tip lever jammed. This is the third tiptronic related problem I have had since I got the car. The other two are phantom shifts (which slammed the car from neutral into drive...problem still reoccurs occasionally) and rough shifts in tiptronic mode.
Now, I have a very good relationship with my dealership, and I am very satisfied with the car. It is the best car I have ever owned and I love it. I think Audi is one of the best manufacturers on the road and their current product line is exceptional.
I am a little bit concerned however with my tip. I want to keep my A4 for at least 5 years and I drive about 30,000 miles per year (about 50,000 km a year) so I will be out of warrantee VERY soon.
I think I want a manual A4. I already checked what I lose if I traded my car in, and it is crazy the amount of depreciation that occurs.
I have not modifyed my A4 yet, although I am planning to later.
What should I do? Any suggestions? I really would feel bad getting rid of my A4, I seriously love her, but wondering if I would not be happier with a MY2000 A4 1.8T QMS (not considering any other car besides another A4)
I am serious, not a troll. =)
Thanks in advance
