Air Con Problem
I have a recently developed problem with the air con in my 1996 A4 1.8T. When it is very hot in the car after it has been sitting in the sun the air con won't kick in and start pumping out cold air for up to 10 minutes ? I can't figure it. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks<br>

Did you drive off right away? or you just stay still. I found the air con cool up very quick after I drive off and rev up the engine. My guess is the climate control switch off the compressor when you crank up the car to prevent starting motor from overloaded.
