Airbag control module problem code 65535
I recently replaced my timing belt on my 2001 A4 1.8T. Ever since I did the replacement my airbag light is on. I used a VAG-COM, release 409.1-S to scan it, but could not reset the code. The error I get is:
65535 Internal Control Module Memory Error
00-10 Intermittent
Further scans give me passenger seat occupied - Too high.
Most of the threads say my control module is bad and to replace it. Based on the fact that this showed up after a timing belt change I wonder if I have a sensor connection issue. I checked, but could not find any loose connections. Can anybody tell me exactly how many sensors to check and where they are. Also, has anybody else seen this after a timing belt change?
Thanks for the help
