alright what is the deal with my idle....
my idol is alwyas 800 rpms as usaul but today i started it and it was a constant 1200. i turned off the car and back on and it went back to 800. i thought it was just a random thing but then it happene again a few hours later. what does this mean?

actually, it's the other way around...
When it's really cold (below freezing) the normal "1200 rpm for 1-2 minutes" warm-up routine is skipped in order to minimize engine wear. You don't want your engine running at higher rpms right after you start it in very cold temperatures because there is no lubrication, so the lower the rpms the better.
Otherwise, when temps are above freezing, the purpose of the 1-2 minute 1200 rpm idle (before it falls back to 800) is to help heat up the cat faster so that it starts doing its job ASAP.
