another chip question

I have a tip 2000 1.8t - been looking at APR, etc. Visited Wetterauer website and called, spoke with Peter. They are very close to my office in LA, which is a plus. In addition, I'm actually pretty happy with my stock engine, and was pleased to see availability of a .8 bar chip, which I'd assume is easier on turbo, etc. if you aren't looking for max numbers. Opinions or experience?

Everyone I've talked to that bought the .8 bar chip has wished they got the 1.0 bar chip.

This is the same dilema that just about everyone has gone through. Rather than focus on the .8 bar or the 1.0 bar, decide which tuner knows the A4 the best and is dedicated to continued service and research. For me . . . it was APR hands down. These guys really do know our cars better than we do. By the way, .8 chips are not necessarily easier on the A4 than 1.0 bar. Good luck.
