Another KO4 question...

Well after finishing the install last week, I didnt get time to get a number of random small parts from the dealership until yesterday. Now I have a dilemma. The bolt that I cut off, the Turbo mount bolt is unusable. This being the case, I went to the Audi dealership and got another. Now for some godforsaken unknown reason i cant get the damn thing on. I couldnt have stripped the threads in the hole because it never was able to go in. It works on my old K03 so I know it is the right size. I think the problem is that metal mounting braket doesnt allow the bolt to line up exactly with the hole. Im about to scrap the bolt altogether but I wanted your opinions first. The sheet metal mount seems to do nothing to really support the turbo, as it is already connected to the exhaust manifold with 3 large studs. In addition, the mount actually seems to pull the turbo downward rather than bracing it upword and I cant imagine how that would be benificial at all if the studs werent designed to hold the weight. Somone give me some advice.. im dieing here...
