That's understandable. I take it you run standalone software now?

Default Re: nope, the old oil pump which has 19k mi on it...I have a couple others i could throw in

Might be worth investing in a new oil pump or a high volume unit. The pumps in those cars are not the heartiest of units to begin with. Did you hot tank the block before rebuilding it? Wondered if something is stuck in one of the gally ways

Default Nope didn't hot tank it.. just pressure washed it... hmm, well I'll try the gauge

and then if I have a problem, are there any drop in high flow oil pumps?

Default A couple comments....

You might check the ETKA, the 225 pump might be a possibility. Hot tanking is a decent idea when rebuilding, it tends to get all the debris out of there(read: $ well spent).
I'm rebuilding a motor now, and I always hot tank the blocks/case halves/cam housings, etc. They cost a bit , but I always replace the oil pumps whenever possible or upgrade when I can.
Its worth replacing the switch as well, they are not bullit proof. They don't cost much either.

Default I just had my block hot tanked. Do you clean the gray chemical off?

I'm planning on cleaning off all the gasket surfaces and front and back.

Default Yes....

Make the surfaces , especially the gasket surfaces surgical room clean. Its pays dividends down the line.
