Bob1 - A while back, you indicated that your car was put on a boat on the 17 of April and set to sea on 21 April (I think), heading for Houston. I am fairly sure that my car is on that same boat. My dealership is getting very tired of me constantly inquiring about the status of my car. (constantly = ~once a week or two weeks) I would just like to ask you for the following favor: If you receive a call from your dealership indicating that your car is at port or in transit, would you please please post on this board or email me privately? This would give a good point of reference for where the heck my car is. When my car was given a VIN, and it showed up on the printout, I was never called and notified. I had to call and ask, and then they said, "Oh yeah, look at that, I didn't even notice." Not a big deal to most, but I have to take my new car on a 1500 mile trip on May 19, so the time frame here is growing ever tighter. The trip is one way, so if my car does not arrive, I will be in a world of s**t, if you get my meaning. Sorry this is so long, but this would really help me out. It effectively gives me two dealerships looking for my car, not just one. If you would like, I can do the same for you. Will do. Supposedly, today (May 1) is the day it arrives in Houston but I haven't had that confirmed yet.
