Audi S4 Seat Conversion
Alright so I came across a Craigslist ad for front and rear black leather powered seats from a 2000 S4. I have a 1999.5 Audi A4 1.8T with manual seats. Is it possible to do a complete front and rear swap? How much would I be looking at for labor at a shop?
Btw I'm getting the front and rears for 450, is that a deal as well?

The rear seat should drop right in. The passenger's seat might too, but the driver's seat....
will require some fabrication to make it bolt in IIRC.
You might have to do the same for the passenger seat too. I don't remember.
I know I looked at alot of other options (S4 seats, TT seats, etc) before I found a set of A4 sport seats. They are the way to go IMO.

I did the same research.
1.8t to S4 seats
Rear should is pnp (plug and play)
Front is another story, to install the seat you have to
1. cut off the front seat support
2. drill and thread two holes in the floor to bolt the power seat
3. route power and wire new connectors to the seats.

yes you can swap manual seats for power seats
it requires carpet cutting and riveted inserts to be installed in the floor... also the center rail for the manual seat must be extracted or chopped off. You can also go from power seats to manual seats by welding on a monorail bracket. I've swapped a car both ways and I dont really want to post a whole lot more about it... its a pain in the *** to do IMO... welding is required and special tooling is also required to do it correctly so that the car stands a chance of being safe in an accident.

Phil, how easy is it to move some heated B6 S4 front seats into a B6 A4 1.8T? I know the passenger seat is manual, so I am guessing that would be the hard side.

Why swap out Sparco's for S4 stockers??
your sig says u have spearco's and 5 point harneses
unless your unhapy with the sacrifice in comfort, why the heck would you downgrade your seats?
