does anyone know which one is better? autobahn or JLaudio? which one has better quality, or does anyone know any other better brand? i am looking something for my trunk, a subwoofer and amp, thanks

If you want good stuff then go Alpine, but they are pricy. Clarion and Kicker are good brands for speakers.
I have a Coustic amp which is pretty good. Esp. for the price.
You definatly get what you pay for when it comes to speakers & amps. Do not be fooled by the 12 inch subs that are $30.
The most important thing is for YOU to listen to the speakers with the type of music YOU listen to. And then you can be sure that the sound suits your tastes.
Its amazing how different speakers of the same specs and cost can sound so different, not better or worse just differenet. Every brand has a different frequency response.

Audiobahn = SPL subs, less focus on clarity, quality of bass, JL is more in between quality and
quantity. I have a single JL10W3 powered by a 250/1 amp and it sounds great on the stock setup.

Well what are you looking to obtain? Must ask yourself that first.
JL Audio Subs/Amps are a great setup even for ideal conditions whether you just want a basic setup to full blown competition sound.
Audiobahn is more for the "more show less go" crowd. The amplifiers and subwoofers are nice to look at but the sound quality is not as up to par. Given the situation they may be more bang for the buck.
There are plenty of other companies you can turn to depending on how much you want to spend as you can go with some of the basic stuff such as Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony, Alpine. You can always go further such as Kicker, Xtant, Rockford Fosgate, MTX etc. There are many companies out there that will more than likely provide the sound that you are looking for, as all you would need to do is look.
