audio question....
Assuming this is for the Acura, scour some of the acura forums for pictures, and how-to guides. There is also a website called installdoctor.com or something like that. They have writeups on how to swap headunits for various cars...they may have something on speakers as well.
In general, you'll find a few screws hidden behind detachable plastic covers on the door panel. Remove every screw you can find that holds the panel to the door. Then go to an auto parts store and ask for a panel remover. You can improvise, and get by without it, but that's usually where you'll start to damage things. Just get the tool. It looks like a small spatula, except is has a u shaped cut out in the middle. You'll slip this around little plastic clips between the panel and the door frame, and wiggle the panel away from the door (takes a bit of force). Work your way around the door until you've released all the clips. Then, lift the door panel up carefully. As you get the door panel off the frame, have a second pair of hands disconnect all the wiring harnesses (speakers, lights, power door locks, power mirrors, power windows, etc.). You will also have to disconnect a rod for the interior door latch release.
This is the way it's done for 95% of all doors out there. Once the door is off, it's just a matter of fashioning some way of mounting the new speaker to the door panel or door frame (where ever the stocker is mounted).
