b5 help

my 1997 qtms has like zero boost from the turbo via vdo boost gauge. no cel and channel 115 on vag-com says n/a. wtf? please help my car is running like crap. oh 232k on od. also vag says that ecu has been changed, odometer rolled back, not original ecu. ?????????????????

What? Post the codes and we'll go from there. Rolling back the odometer isn't the simplest of tasks.

This is news to me...Vag+Ecu= not original ECU????

I want the Vag gurus to chime in here....

My ECU was replaced years ago by a dealer and got replaced again by me when I moved up to APR

Never heard of such issues, unless he has immobilizer. Europe only that early if it even has it.

That post is just a mess. Needs to be clarified more before we can really help out.

115 is only for DBW cars (2000+).

check all your vac lines to/from the manifold, DV, N75 and wastegate

b5 help

OK forget about the ecu thing. I just want my car to run good again. I have replaced the vac hoses and the n75. I have not replaced dv and have not cleaned or checked the MAF. Could those be culprits? Sorry to be such a NOOB.
